As we say goodbye to 2024<\/a> and all the wonderful things that came with it, we look forward to 2025 at the Western and Central PA Chapter of Breakthrough T1D! THANK YOU for your support of Breakthrough T1D!<\/p>\n

We wanted to give a sneak peek of what\u2019s to come at our chapter in the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n

January 11th <\/sup>– York, PA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hoops for Heroes- <\/em><\/strong>More Information<\/a><\/p>\n

Join us at York College for Hoops for Heroes, a fun night dedicated to T1Ds!<\/p>\n

2:00PM – Meetup for T1D children, T1D adults and their families – Includes fun activities and pre-game networking!<\/p>\n

3:00PM – Game start: Tickets are purchased at the door. All money collected for attendance will be donated to Breakthrough T1D<\/p>\n

Halftime \u2013 Coach Hunter\u2019s daughter will share information about T1D and what it\u2019s like living with T1D, Breakthrough T1D, and recognize the other T1D heroes in attendance!<\/p>\n

February 1st <\/sup>– Hershey, PA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Breakthrough T1D Night at the Hershey Bears Game- <\/em><\/strong>More Information<\/a><\/p>\n

Join us for the 4th Annual T1D Family Day at the Hershey Bears Hockey Game! Friends, families, and fellow T1D\u2019s are welcome. Be sure to wear Breakthrough T1D Blue along with your Hershey Bears Attire! Tickets are now available, and a portion of the proceeds go back to Breakthrough T1D if purchased through our Link below.<\/p>\n

February 1st-Lancaster<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Kids Created Art Project-<\/em><\/strong>More Information<\/a><\/p>\n

Participants will create a piece of art in the style of famous local T1D artist Charles Demuth for auction at the Central PA Gala on May 17th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Attendees can also tour the museum and learn more about the artist who was one of the very first people in the United States to receive insulin.\u00a0 Space is limited and attendance is FREE, so register today! RSVP is required to attend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 2nd <\/sup>– Pittsburgh, PA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

T1D Free Skate Party<\/em><\/strong>–More Information<\/a><\/p>\n

Join the Pittsburgh Penguins foundation for a FREE ice-skating party! This hour of fun is dedicated to connecting the T1D community! Rental skates will be available at no cost. Pre-Registration is required to attend<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Breakthrough T1D Community Summit is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). This year, the Breakthrough T1D Community Summit will bring our community together to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, meet vendor exhibitors, connect with others impacted by T1D, and more.<\/p>\n
