Tee Up Fore the Cure, presented by ITU

Brothers, Jim and David Leef of ITU Absorbtech have been longstanding supporters of Breakthrough T1D. Their father, George, was diagnosed with T1D in 1929, and lived a full life until his death in 2007. In honor of George (and his love of golf) the Tee-Up Fore the Cure Golf Outing was created, and since 2006, this annual third-party event has raised more than $500,000 for type 1 diabetes research. Proceeds from Tee Up Fore the Cure benefits Breakthrough T1D and the Max McGee National Research Center for Juvenile Diabetes at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
