With profound sadness, we acknowledge the untimely death of Steve Davis, a beloved member of the Breakthrough T1D family. From his localized influence in the Greater Ohio Valley to his global impact as a member of the International Board of Directors, Steve has helped to guide Breakthrough T1D in a progressive direction to be the best organization for the entire type 1 diabetes (T1D) community.
Steve’s commitment to Breakthrough T1D and our mission to cure, prevent and treat T1D was a reflection of his endearing dedication as a father to do everything in his power to support his daughter, who lives with the disease. Breakthrough T1D and our community will forever be grateful to Steve for the many years of support and send our deepest condolences to all that loved him, including his wife Lynnda, their three daughters Brittany, Stephanie and Cassie, and the entire Davis family.
