Breakthrough T1D is sad to learn that Gladys Hertzfeld has passed away. Gladys and her husband Murph were one of Breakthrough T1D’s founding families. Gladys was deeply involved with Breakthrough T1D for more than 30 years and her husband was the first chairman of the Breakthrough T1D International Board of Directors. Breakthrough T1D only exists because of people like Gladys, and we will honor her legacy by continuing to fight for a world without type 1 diabetes.
