You’re invited to celebrate Mardi Gras to benefit Breakthrough T1D!
Celebration includes Live Zydeco Music – Authentic Cajun Specials – King Cake – Pat O’Brien’s Authentic Hurricanes, and more!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Breakthrough T1D and guests will have the opportunity to contribute to the upcoming Breakthrough T1D Hope Gala event.
Pioneer Saloon co-owner Stephanie Richter serves on the Breakthrough T1D Nevada Board and has been an active member and supporter of Breakthrough T1D since both of her sons were both diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at the age of 12.
11 AM – 11 PM – Drinks & Yummy Cajun/Creole Food all day & night
We’ll be celebrating with New Orleans’ Pat O’Brien’s Hurricanes, authentic Cajun & Creole dishes, like Gumbo & Jambalaya, and King Cakes. We encourage folks to dress up or accessorize with traditional Mardi Gras colors: purple, green and/or gold.
12 PM – 4 PM All ages. Crawfish Boil & Live Music
We are going to be cooking up some fresh crawfish with a yummy old fashioned Louisiana-style boil that includes corn and potatoes. Our friends in High Blue Cactus will be cranking out some rock, country, and blues and taking requests.
6 PM – 10 PM 18+ Evening party with Live Music
We’ll be cranking things up with beads & drinks while the Vegas Strip Kings, featuring Grammy winner, Jimmy Carpenter, jam out some amazing music, including Louisiana-influenced Jazz, Blues, and Zydeco.
