The Breakthrough T1D Community Summit is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). Community Summit will bring our community together to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, meet vendor exhibitors, connect with others impacted by T1D, and more. The educational program and conversations will be geared towards an adult audience, but we have limited space in our Youth & Teen Programming.*

*Note about Youth Programming: We are so grateful for the incredible response this year. Our Youth Programming space is currently full. Please do not select this option when registering. If you would like to join the waitlist, we would be happy to add your child. Please reach out to us directly. Due to space limitations, children registered for Youth Programming at this time will not be able to participate.

Patrick C. Hanley, MD

Patrick C. Hanley, MD, is a Pediatric Endocrinologist dedicated to caring for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. He holds a master’s degree in quality improvement and patient safety and actively leads projects aimed at enhancing medical care and safety standards for his patients. Dr. Hanley’s research expertise includes significant involvement in clinical trials for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, driven by a deep-seated passion for immunology research. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Physician Informatics Team at Nemours, where he utilizes his skills as an Epic-certified Physician Builder to bridge the gap between clinical medicine and healthcare informatics.
