Hi friends!

I rarely post, but raising funds for Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) supports the ground breaking research that has improved the lives of Type 1 Diabetics, like my younger son, Ari. Ari was diagnosed at 17, the summer before his senior year of high school. Ari has handled this life changing diagnosis with impressive maturity. Within 12 hours of diagnosis he was calculating his insulin and giving himself injections from his CHOP hospital room. He rolls with the crazy high’s and low’s, that are at times unavoidable (e.g. leaking pump, illness) without letting those frustrations take away from his joy in life.
