What do you need to know when a student with type 1 diabetes (T1D) is in your care?
Join us for a virtual training course designed to give school nurses, coaches, and staff practical information and tools for supporting a child with T1D safely and confidently during the school day.
We’ll cover:
- Recognizing and responding to high and low blood sugar
- Managing T1D during sick days
- Understanding carbohydrate counting
- An overview of diabetes technology
- Safe insulin administration
- Tips for supporting students with T1D in the school setting
