We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Breakthrough T1D Houston Promise Ball, Saturday, April 11th at the Hilton Americas Houston. This year’s gala is presented by Alexandra & Rich Bruskoff, Glenda & Russell Gordy, Hagans, and Pwc. Our chairs, Alexandra and Rich Bruskoff are looking forward to sharing in our theme of A Night in Black & White with you.
You should have already received your auction link and hopefully, you are bidding on those one-of-a-kind auction items. Prepare to receive delicious food and drink, DJ Pamela Tick, A Mahjong for a Cure Salon and the opportunity to directly support Breakthrough T1D funded research. EVENT DETAILS
- Attire: Black and White/Black Tie
- Parking: Complimentary valet and self-parking, sponsored by Helfman Auto Group, is provided for all Promise Ball guests. This will ensure a smooth arrival and expedite guest check-in. Whether driving or using Uber or Lyft, please use the East Valet Drive on Avenida de las Americas. Please be aware of possible road closures heading into downtown due to ongoing construction on 610 West Loop, I-10 and Hwy 59. Upon your arrival, head to the second floor Ballroom of the Americas for guest registration. You must register to receive your complimentary valet and self-parking validation.
- Silent Auction – Once again, most of the physical silent auction items will not be on display at the event. Winners will be able to pick up auction items at the Breakthrough T1D office on Friday, April 17th and Monday, April 20th from 10am to 3pm. Winners will receive an email with pick-up instructions.

FUND A CURE
Fund A Cure is the unique opportunity for you to change the lives of individuals living with type 1 diabetes. After the Live Auction, when the ballroom is still with a story of hope and inspiration, you will be asked to Fund a Cure. This is your chance to make a donation that goes 100% directly to research, is 100% tax deductible, and will fund the science to make medical history. AUCTION ITEM PICK-UP: Auction item pickup will take place next week at the Breakthrough T1D office located at 1776 Yorktown St, Suite 560, Houston, TX 77056. Pickup will be available Friday, April 17th and Monday, April 20th from 10am to 3pm.

After the evening program concludes, continue the celebration with DJ Pamela Tick from New York. There will also be a Photobooth with instant picture printout and casino games (with awesome prizes). You won’t want to miss this party!
