Bob and Judy Morgan’s journey with Type 1 diabetes began in 1993, when their son, Christopher, was diagnosed at just nine years old. Since that day, the Morgans have become a pillar of the Breakthrough T1D community—walking for a cure for almost 25 years, building one of the largest family teams in the 1990s, and giving their time and leadership in countless ways. Judy has shared their family’s story through the Speaker’s Bureau, Christopher has served as a Walk Ambassador, and Bob has contributed his expertise on the executive board and corporate development committee—service that now continues through his son-in-law, Tim.

The Morgan family remains deeply grateful to Breakthrough T1D for driving research and innovation that have transformed Christopher’s life and brought hope to countless others living with Type 1 diabetes.
