We are thrilled to announce that the Breakthrough T1D Los Angeles “Cures on the Horizon” Gala auction is officially open, with an incredible lineup of items, such as wine and spirits, exclusive travel experiences, and sports tickets and everyone is invited to bid!

Join Us for Breakthrough T1D Community Summit: Pasadena!
Breakthrough T1D Community Summit: Pasadena is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by T1D. This year, the Summit will feature a keynote presentation by the Breakthrough T1D Medical Affairs team, highlighting the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, technology, treatment, and care, along with the role Breakthrough T1D plays in driving progress.
Later, attendees can choose to attend a variety of breakout sessions, including exciting research updates from our partners at City of Hope and Cedars-Sinai, mental health, school, tips and tricks for managing T1D through exercise, and the latest in T1D tech.
When: November 15 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

2027 Children’s Congress Application Now Open!
Breakthrough T1D 2027 Children’s Congress, our 14th biennial event held for youth ages 4-17 living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), will take place in Washington, D.C., June 28 to July 1, 2027. More than 160 youth from across the country and around the world will have the unique and empowering opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and other Federal decision-makers to shine a light on the day-to-day experiences of life with T1D and advance our key issues.
Help us create a world without T1D by speaking up and sharing your personal story in our nation’s capital! If you are interested in participating, you may apply online now through November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., HST at cc.BreakthroughT1D.org. Applicants must be between the ages of 4 and 17 at the time of the event to be eligible to apply.
