Volunteer support is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for a larger commitment, there are countless ways to make a meaningful impact on our community.

  • Cape Cod Ride: Our premier cycling event brings together riders from across the region to support our mission while enjoying the scenic beauty of Cape Cod on Sunday, September 27. Volunteers help with registration, rider support, rest stops, and cheering participants on throughout the day.
  • Greater New England Walks: Join the largest gathering of the T1D community at our Walks in Boston (9/26), Maine (9/27), New Hampshire (10/3), and Rhode Island (10/4) that raise awareness, honor those impacted by T1D, and bring people together in support. Volunteers assist with participant check-in, route support, event setup and breakdown, and creating an encouraging atmosphere for walkers and families.
  • Host Your Own Event: Turn your passion and creativity into impact by organizing a fundraiser or awareness event in your workplace, school, neighborhood, or community. From casual gatherings to larger fundraisers, every event helps expand our reach and support our mission.
  • Become an Advocate: Help amplify our message by sharing information, raising awareness, and engaging others in our cause. Advocates play a vital role in educating communities, connecting people to resources, and inspiring support and action.

These are just a few of the many ways to volunteer and support our work. For more information or to get started, sign up at the links above or contact our office at [email protected].
