Breakthrough T1D is an official charity partner of the 2026 Rhode Races Newport Marathon and Half Marathon. In exchange for fundraising, Breakthrough T1D participants will receive free entry into the race of their choice and will have the opportunity to earn a variety of fundraising incentives along the way.
Join us in the City-by-the-Sea for this stunning marathon and half marathon featuring scenic views and oceanside roads. See the Newport Bridge, Fort Adams, Newport Mansions, and Salve Regina University Campus. Newport Rhode Races partners with the Annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival to give you a true Spring Newport Experience. Our courses will pass along many of the over 1,200,000 starting to bloom around Newport.
Fundraising minimums:
- Half Marathon: $500
- Marathon: $500
Participants who have secured their own entry into the race are welcome to join our team at any time as a supporter.
