The Golf Classic has been a staple in the New England community since its inception in 2001.

Under the leadership of Chair, Christopher Librizzi, this event has raised more than $2.4 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research over the last 24 years. It is now the longest-running charity golf tournament in Rhode Island.
