Where: Corner of Washington St. and Walnut St., Newton Lower Falls
The Greater New England Chapter has a team of eight charity runners participating in the Boston Marathon as part of the Breakthrough T1D team! On Marathon Monday, our chapter will have a cheering section along the route! The section will be walking distance from our office, on the corner of Rt. 16 and Walnut St. in Newton Lower Falls. We expect to see our first runner pass us around noon.
Our goal is to make lots of noise by cheering on our runners so they have some energy before they hit Heartbreak Hill!
Limited parking is available at our office, 62 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. Due to the marathon route, please note there are multiple road closures surrounding our office and you will need to enter our parking lot from Route 9 and Cedar Street.
