About

You’re invited to join Breakthrough T1D’s Pacific Northwest Research & Clinical Trials Quarterly Update on Thursday, August 13th from 6:30pm-7:30pm PT (7:30pm-8:30pm MT & 5:30pm-6:30pm AK)!
We are pleased to welcome our wonderful Clinical Trial Education Volunteers, Laura Tremblay (OR), Julie Geddes (MT), Jude Restis (WA) and Mark Smith (ID) who will be sharing an overview of the research currently underway for people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D).  They will discuss the four major research priorities of Breakthrough T1D shared below:
  1. Screening and Early Detection
  2. Disease-Modifying Therapies
  3. Cell Therapies
  4. Improving Lives
Along the way, they will also highlight some of the trials enrolling in the Pacific Northwest that address each of these research priorities. They’re really looking forward to talking about what’s happening in the world of type 1 diabetes, with a particular focus on the clinical trials taking place right here in the PNW, so, be sure to join them, and register here! Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions, or concerns.
This virtual event is free to attend, and open to everyone in the T1D community. We hope to see you on Zoom!
