We are thrilled to share that the 32nd Annual Sheraton Grand Seattle Gingerbread Village is back again! Gingerbread Village is a cherished tradition benefitting Breakthrough T1D and type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

The process begins each year months in advance. Architects submit detailed schematics before the Sheraton chefs bake the gingerbread foundation for these 6-foot-tall masterpieces. The Breakthrough T1D Elves bring their unique perspectives to the designs, with some using AI tools, and others drawing from their cultures, and incorporating elements of their families and identities. The result is a breathtaking collaboration that showcases creativity, teamwork, and the spirit of the season. 

This season, visitors can discover what creative theme our architects and Gingerbread Village Elves have brought to life and experience the craftsmanship, holiday magic, and community spirit that make Gingerbread Village a cherished Seattle tradition. Join us anytime from November 19, 2026 through January 1, 2027, to explore this year’s imaginative displays and discover the theme that ties the village together.
