In light of the diabetes epidemic and the high frequency of pediatric chronic diseases
and growth disorders, the Mount Sinai Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and
Diabetes seeks to empower a broad array of clinicians to provide the highest level
of care to people with diabetes disorders of growth. Participants will learn about
pathophysiology, treatment goals and treatment methods for diabetes, endocrine
disorders and growth disorders and will emerge more confident dealing with diabetes
and endocrine challenges.
