Event will include a special Research Update from Jacquelyn Brown, Ph.D., a research scientist at Breakthrough T1D. She manages the biomarkers and disease development grant portfolios for the prevention program. She is involved in Breakthrough T1D’s cross-disciplinary efforts surrounding type 1 diabetes (T1D) and Big Data, which involves teaming up with data analytics experts, including IBM Watson researchers, to develop machine learning methods to analyze years of global T1D research data to identify factors leading to onset in children.

Event will also include pharmaceutical companies. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP is MANDATORY!!!
