The Illinois Chapter of Breakthrough T1D cordially invites you to an event specifically for Grandparents of Children with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Whether you live across the street or across the country from your grandchild with T1D, you can make a difference.

At this informal gathering, you will be able to meet other grandparents, learn how to better support and care for your grandchild with T1D, and learn how Breakthrough T1D is driving life-changing treatments and cures. Dr. Rosemary Briars, Co-Director of the Chicago Children’s Diabetes Center at La Rabida Children’s Hospital will be leading the discussion.

10:30 am – Coffee Reception
11:00 am-12:00pm – Presentation followed by Q&A
