About the 2026 Real Estate Games

On Thursday, May 14, the Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) Illinois Real Estate Games returns for our seventh-annual fundraiser benefiting the Breakthrough T1D Illinois Chapter. The event brings together more than 300 of Chicago’s commercial real estate leaders to raise critical funds supporting Breakthrough T1D’s mission to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes. Sponsorship opportunities range from $3,500 to $15,000, with team participation available at the Elite Athlete level ($7,500) and above. Last year, we raised over $370,000, and this year’s Games will feature more than 25 teams, competing in athletic challenges, followed by an awards celebration and after party.

Founded 37 years ago in Washington, DC by Savills Vice Chairman and Breakthrough T1D International Board Director Emeritus, Adam Singer, the Breakthrough T1D Real Estate Games is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the commercial real estate industry that raises funds to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
