It has been 19 years since Jack’s Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) diagnosis.  The memory remains vivid for our family as we remember a time BEFORE and AFTER T1D changed Jack’s life.  We have worked hard over the years to strive for a cure and know that the support of our friends and family has made a difference – guiding technological innovations that have helped Jack and scientific breakthroughs that have provided insulin independence for some patients in clinical trials.

On June 28^th, I will be helping to host the 3^rd annual Breakthrough T1D Dink for Diabetes Pickleball tournament to be held at Danny Cunniff Park in Highland Park.  Due to our annual family reunion in Eagle River, I will not be able to participate.  I will, however, be encouraging supporters to donate to Breakthrough T1D – in order to drive toward curing type 1 diabetes while we help make everyday life better for those living with the disease.
