The annual Breakthrough T1D Kentucky Gala brings together the diabetes community for an unforgettable evening featuring an expansive silent auction, one-of-a-kind live auction, seated dinner, live entertainment, and a night of fundraising all in support of Breakthrough T1D. Parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the Hotel. Valet parking charges are $34 for overnight guests and $22 for non-overnight guests. If you wish to self-park will be charged an hourly rate, with a daily maximum of $22. Street parking is free after 6pm.

Breakthrough T1D Auction Rules
- The Silent Auction packages will close during the live program on Saturday, March 8.
- Live auction packages will be auctioned during the live program at the Kentucky Gala on Saturday, March 8.
- You may skip ahead to the bid amount you want to pay. The next bidder must bid higher than you to be successful.
- All winning bids are final. There will be no exchange or refund on items unless otherwise specified.
- Should an auction package become unredeemable (a business is now closed, cancelled event, etc.) Breakthrough T1D will turn your support into a fully tax-deductible donation at your request.
- Please pay careful attention to all conditions, restrictions, and expiration dates on items and services. Unless otherwise stated, gift certificates exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity. Unless otherwise noted, all auction items and services must be used within one year of March 8, 2025. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend upon it.
- Breakthrough T1D will communicate with all winning bidders after the auction closes regarding auction item pick-up/shipping. Winning bidders are responsible for any shipping and insurance charges. Guests attending the gala in-person will be able to pick-up auction items following the evening program.
- Breakthrough T1D will not ship alcohol to a winning bidder. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase any packages containing alcohol and tours of alcoholic establishments (distillery, brewery, etc).
- Breakthrough T1D is not responsible for replacing lost gift certificates. Breakthrough T1D is under no obligation to extend, modify or change items or restrictions on items/certificates.
- Dates for all trips and similar events must be mutually arranged with donor, unless otherwise noted. All reservations should be made at least one month in advance. All tickets in travel packages are for coach travel, unless otherwise specified. No refunds are permitted for canceled, lost, or unused tickets and/or accommodations.
- All completed sales from this event are considered transactions solely between the purchaser and the donor of the auction item.
- All gift card usage is the responsibility of the buyer. Although the gift card and amount is currently valid, Breakthrough T1D cannot be held responsible for unused gift cards at businesses that may cease to operate before the expiration date.
- Auction items may not be transferred from the original buyer to another auction outside of Breakthrough T1D without prior written consent from the donor.
- Breakthrough T1D has endeavored to catalogue and describe the auction items correctly, but all items are sold “as is.” No statements contained in the program or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. Bidders should carefully note the specific restrictions, conditions, and expiration dates for items purchased.
- Breakthrough T1D reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale.
- Items depicted in the slide presentation are for illustration purposes and may not be actual auction items.
Note: For tax purposes in regard to auction purchases, all contributions in excess of the fair market value of the item are tax deductible as a gift to a charitable organization. JDRF encourages all attendees, donors and contributors to consult the appropriate IRS Revenue Ruling 67-246 and their tax consultant.
