The annual Breakthrough T1D Louisville Gala brings together the diabetes community for an unforgettable evening featuring an expansive silent auction, one-of-a-kind live auction, seated dinner, live entertainment, and a night of fundraising all in support of Breakthrough T1D.

This year we honor Ford Motor Company for its extraordinary, decades-long commitment to advancing type 1 diabetes research. As a partner since 1983, Ford’s support has grown into a global movement.

Led by Edsel B. Ford II in honor of his son Albert, who has lived with T1D for more than 25 years, the Ford Motor Company has activated tens of thousands of volunteers, across 35 sites, 11 countries, and on 3 continents. Over the past 25 years, their initiative has raised more than $3 million annually, totaling over $80 million to accelerate research, improve lives, and bring us closer to cures.

At the Breakthrough T1D Kentucky Gala, we celebrate Ford’s unwavering dedication, innovative spirit, and the profound impact of its global community in the fight against T1D.
