Breakthrough T1D is an official charity partner of the 2025 Grand Rapids Marathon.  Join Breakthrough T1D Run team as we go the distance to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Breakthrough T1D Run participants join in on the fun of the Grand Rapids Marathon through miles, medals, and most importantly moments! This is your moment to fundraise and help turn type one into type none! As a Breakthrough T1D Run participant, we’re committed to supporting you before and throughout the race weekend.

When you join the Breakthrough T1D Run team at any package level, you will receive:

• Fundraising support
• Discounted registration fee
• Incentives based on the money you fundraise:
  • Raise $150 and receive the Breakthrough T1D Run Performance T-Shirt
  • Raise $300 and receive the Breakthrough T1D Run Race Day Singlet.
• A commitment from Breakthrough T1D to keep working towards a cure!
