Volunteer at a 2025 Breakthrough T1D Walk

Breakthrough T1D Mid-Atlantic seeks volunteers to support our Breakthrough T1D Walk events taking place this May across the Mid-Atlantic region. Serving as a Walk volunteer is a fun and rewarding experience that allows you to be an important part of advancing the Breakthrough T1D mission.

Adult volunteers (or youth volunteers who participate with a parent) are needed to assist with greeting attendees, youth activities, water stops, route support, and event break down. Please note that most jobs will involve standing and semi-active physical activity for an extended period of time.

Breakthrough T1D Walk Baltimore – Saturday, May 3  (Latrobe Park)

Breakthrough T1D Walk Washington, DC – Sunday, May 4 (The National Mall)

Breakthrough T1D Walk Hampton Roads – Saturday, May 17 (Virginia Beach Boardwalk)

Breakthrough T1D Walk Richmond – Sunday, May 18 (Kings Dominion)
