College Diabetes Network at George Mason University is hosting an Off to College event for local high school students with type 1 diabetes. The program will provide students and their caregivers a chance to learn about how to navigate college life with diabetes and will feature speakers from the university’s disability services, counseling and psychological services, a certified diabetes educator, as well as many students who have lived with T1D diabetes in college. The event is free but pre-registration is required.
