Dear Prospective Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador,
On behalf of Breakthrough T1D, we would like to invite you to apply as a Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador (YA). The Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador Program teaches children and teens to advocate for and raise awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in their community. This group is made up of children living with T1D, K-12. Youth Ambassadors will have confidence in sharing their T1D story, demonstrate leadership skills and collaborate with T1D peers while advancing the mission of Breakthrough T1D.
We hope you will apply for the 2024-25 Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador Program. Please submit your completed forms as well as email your photo per instructions no later than 10pm on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.
Once we’ve received all of the applications for this year’s program, we will conduct a review and may reach out to you if we have any questions. You’ll be notified by Friday, September 6th, 2024, if you’ve been selected for the program.
