Over the previous 23 years, the Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh Golf Outing has been able to donate more than $1 million to Breakthrough T1D. Art Walsh started the tradition in 1997 after his brother was diagnosed with diabetes (he passed away in 2000). Art remembers as a child watching his young brother give himself two injections a day and witnessing his lifelong struggle with the disease. Art describes the golf outing as a great way to honor his brother, entertain clients, raise money, and contribute to Breakthrough T1D. He credits friends and clients of the firm who have generously contributed to the event over the years.
