Parents and caregivers are invited to attend this free event to meet other families in the T1D community. Breakthrough T1D staff and volunteers will share information about local programs and events and share Breakthrough T1D’s new resources to help all children have the best possible school experience. Whether you’re going back to school for the first time since diagnosis, starting a new school, or looking for resources to help ease the transition back to school, you can get your questions answered by healthcare professionals and experienced T1D parents – or share your own tips and experiences with others! Supervision and activities for children will be provided and light refreshments will be served.
