The Recreate, Educate, Advocate, and Climb Higher (REACH) program is a recreation service for youth with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and their families. REACH at Weber State University (WSU) provides fun and innovative recreation programming that combines positive youth development and diabetes education.
A half day of recreation, friendship, and education, WSU students and staff host this monthly hangout for youth and families impacted by T1D. The February Family Day will consist of crafts and physical activities.
REACH KIDS is for youth ages 6 through 10 and their families, and will be from 10am to 1pm.
REACH TODDLERS is for youth ages 3 through 5 and their families, and will take place from 2pm to 4pm.
