My big brother was an incredible athlete, playing basketball all over the country and overseas as a teenager. Many Type 1 Diabetics, like myself, fear the the ramifications of fitness on our blood sugar levels…but as Dakota would say, “We are greater than our highs and lows.” He would love nothing more than for us to celebrate his life by continuing to raise awareness and funding for Type 1 Diabetes with a grueling and competitive workout
Come join me on Sunday, April 30th to celebrate diabetics who have no days off and who kick ass in the name of Dakota…the first annual 5252 Games! This is an event for all to come and enjoy, educate and visit our vendors ❤ participating in the workout is not necessary.
