Join Breakthrough T1D Mountain West UT Board Members on April 17, 2021 for an amazing poker run to support Breakthrough T1D! Drive to five locations, collect your cards, and put together a prize winning poker hand in this fun, COVID-safe third party event. Locations will provide unique challenges and opportunities to learn more about type 1 diabetes (T1D) and Breakthrough T1D.
Each $60 donation counts as one entry, which includes one poker hand in the prize competition (rules can be found HERE) and a bag with generous gifts from our sponsors. Multiple entries per person are allowed. Play as an individual, play as a team, or get your family and friends together to play against one another!
Want better odds? Donate $120 or $180 to get a 6 or 7 card hand to be able to discard the worst card(s).
The run will start at the Lifthouse in Cottonwood Heights and wind its way through the valley, finishing at Wingers Restaurant and Alehouse in Bountiful and take approximately two hours. Groups will be staggered to keep crowds minimal. Locations include:
All funds raised will support Breakthrough T1D, which funds research to improve life with and cure T1D. Prizes, generously donated by our partners and community, include: a Traeger, an Aha Sparkling Water branded Cruiser Bike, prize pack from our great sponsor Rockwell including a watch, sunglasses, hat and a shirt.
