Colorado individuals and families living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) are invited to a free TypeOneNation Summit, hosted by the Breakthrough T1D Mountain West Chapter!

Join us the morning of Saturday, March 25, for an opportunity to learn more about who Breakthrough T1D is and how we serve the greater T1D community. Local experts and leaders in the T1D community will be hosting breakout sessions focusing on different topics affecting all ages and stages of T1D. Breakout session topics will include school, mental health and exercise, all from the lens of life with T1D.

Light breakfast options will be available.

KIDS CAMP & TEEN TIME

Youth and teen programming is back in 2023! Children and teens are welcome to join Kids Camp or Teen Time, while parents and caregivers sit in on breakout sessions.

Kids Camp is for youth in grades kindergarten through 7th. Programming is scheduled from 9:00am-11:00am.

Teen Time is for teens in grades 8th through 12th. Programming is scheduled from 9:00am-11:00am.

Please note: Parents and caregivers interested in this programming must reserve the correct amount of applicable tickets upon registering.

Make sure you’re seated in the main hall to hear a special welcome message from Breakthrough T1D.

Our opening keynote will be presented by Nikki Farnsworth, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC).
