The Finish Before You Start Run
You read that right, this race will start at 2:00 AM on November 4th, at Daylight Savings time. This course will begin and end at the Fire Barn Sports Bar and Grill in Waterloo. Runners and walkers will complete a 2 mile or 4 mile course through the early morning (late night?) lamp post lit streets of Waterloo, NE.
Thanks to Mother Nature and Daylight Savings Time, once you’ve completed the course it will magically be before you started, and it might all have been a dream. To commemorate time travel, the theme for this event is Back to the Future and prizes will be given to the best dressed 80s themed costume. Ironhawk Endurance will also have prizes for overall and age group winners.
All walkers and runners welcome! Each runner that signs up will receive a commemorative stocking cap and food and beer from the Fire Barn at the after party, hosted by Jeff Degan from the Big Party Morning Show on Channel 94.1.
A portion of the proceeds from Ironhawk Endurance supports Breakthrough T1D and the mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
