Breakthrough T1D Vala’s Pumpkin Patch Outreach Event

This Signature Outreach Event at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch enables individuals living with T1D and their families to spend a fun-filled fall day enjoying a hot dog lunch, roasting marshmallows, connecting with other families & all that Vala’s has to offer. A Vendor Fair provides information on the latest technology for blood glucose meters, insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).

Event & In-Kind Sponsors: I-80 Cosmopolitan Club, Coca-Cola, Land O’ Frost, Oriental Trading Company, Rotella Bakery, and Sanofi.

Vendors: Animas, Dexcom, Insulet/Omnipod, Medtronic,
Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, & Tandem Diabetes.

Families living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) are invited to join us at the open-air Pavilion (next to Bunnyville) anytime between Noon – 2 p.m. for an old-fashioned weenie roast.

Admission & weenie roast lunch is $9.50 per person (immediate family members only please!)

Relax by the fire and visit with other families living with T1D.
Don’t forget to stop by the Vendor Fair displaying current diabetes supplies & technologies.

Afterwards, explore the Pumpkin Patch, take a Hay Rack Ride, visit the Haunted Farmhouse, or cheer along at the Pig Races – there’s something fun for everyone!

A Halloween Goodie Bag will be given to all families living with T1D who attend the event.
