Outreach Ambassadors play a vital role in supporting newly diagnosed families and individuals and those new to Breakthrough T1D and helping them find their place within the organization. These volunteers provide the first touchpoint to those who have received a resource from Breakthrough T1D and will offer first-hand perspective on life with T1D, educational and support resources, an introduction to their local chapter, and other local and national support and networking programs. Through emails and phone calls, Outreach Ambassadors will help ensure everyone receives a personal and warm welcome to the Breakthrough T1D family, regardless of where they are in their T1D journey.
