Taking T1D to College

Have a teen with T1D who is preparing to go to college? A panel of students from College Diabetes Network (CDN) of TCNJ will share their experiences about moving to college and adjusting to life on their own with diabetes.

Topics to be discussed:

Supplies at school
Roommate issues
Food service/nutrition
Exercise
Sick day management
Alcohol & T1D
Emergency procedures

The panel will open up for parents and students to ask any questions they may have. Students from CDN will also take your teen on a college tour of TCNJ and answer any questions you may have.
