Tween Talk: Picnic in the Park

The Tween Talk was originally scheduled for September 12, but the date was changed due to the weather!
This gathering is designed for pre-teens living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) ages 10-14. The middle school years and transition into high school can be a tough time, adding diabetes can bring extra challenges. This program is an opportunity for tweens to share life experiences with this disease.

In September, the tweens and their families are planning a picnic in the park. The park has a playground, tennis, basketball and gaga court and a baseball field. Siblings and parents are welcome to join.
