The Breakthrough T1D Northeast Wisconsin Gala brings together the T1D community for an unforgettable evening featuring an expansive silent auction, one-of-a-kind live auction, seated dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and a night of fundraising to improve and change life with type 1 diabetes (T1D), advancing breakthroughs on the way to cures.

Hayley Tenpas is the award-winning host of Focus Fox Valley on WHBY, where she shines a light on the people, stories, and ideas making the Fox Valley a stronger, more connected community. A mom of three and natural storyteller, Hayley brings curiosity, warmth, and a genuine love for local connection to every conversation—creating moments that inform, inspire, and celebrate the place we call home. Beyond the microphone, Hayley is a 2026 Future 15 award recipient and has helped raise $49,000 for Building for Kids through Just Dance. She serves on the Communications & Marketing Board for Building for Kids and the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region. Hayley lives in the Fox Valley with her husband, Brian, and their three children—and can often be found behind the wheel, transporting them from one event or activity to the next. The Cougars Band is a 6-piece Rock and Roll group fronted by 3 lead female vocalists. Their specialty is belty, high-energy songs and lots of harmonies. You’ll hear everything from Journey to Lady GaGa with some cross over country mixed in. They also play 80s hits and party songs to keep the dance floor full. While fun is the name of the game with this band, you will find some impressive musicianship coming from the stage as each member has many years of playing experience under their belt.
