Breakthrough T1D NorCal Community Summit Adds New Cure Track

Mark your calendars for the Breakthrough T1D Community Summit on Saturday, August 23, in San Ramon! This event is a special opportunity for the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community to come together for a day of education, inspiration, and connection, at no cost. We’re especially excited to offer a new Cure Track this year, featuring a panel discussion on Advances in Cell Therapy to Cure T1D, with leaders from the Breakthrough T1D Northern California Center of Excellence, Novo Nordisk, Sana, and Minutia. Additional breakout sessions will cover topics for teens, parents and caregivers, adults living with T1D, and the latest in T1D technology. Learn more and register.

The American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) 85th Scientific Sessions

Breakthrough T1D was on site in Chicago, IL from June 20-23 for the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) 85th Scientific Sessions, reporting on the latest-and-greatest T1D advancements in cures, treatments, therapies, and devices—including many driven by Breakthrough T1D funding. Breakthrough T1D staff and leadership hosted and participated in panel discussions, met with industry leaders, and engaged with researchers from around the world. Read the recap.
