Join other T1D adults for a scenic one-hour walk through Golden Gate Park! This casual gathering is a great opportunity to connect while enjoying the outdoors.

Before we head out, you’ll hear from Dessi Zaharieva, PhD, CEP, CDCES, and Breakthrough T1D NorCal Board Member about some recent advancements and some of her favorite tips for exercising with T1D. You’ll also have the chance to talk with Dr. Beth Braun, a health psychologist specializing in diabetes management, nutrition, and mental health, who supports adults and children facing diabetes burnout, anxiety, and depression.

Plus, you’ll meet lots of other great T1D adults!

1. You can park on side streets for free or at the Music Concourse Garage for a fee. The Garage is located at 10th and Fulton.
