Join us and learn the basics on caring for your T1D loved one, geared specifically for grandparents and caregivers.

The Breakthrough T1D Northern Florida Chapter is thrilled to offer basic training for grandparents and caregivers of type one diabetic (T1D) children. Leading the training will be Dr. Henry Rodriguez, Clinical Director with the USF Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, and Janet Rodriguez, CDE, Certified Insulin Pump and CGM Specialist, also with the USF Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Tampa. They are both leading experts in the T1D field and will share the basic skills and knowledge necessary to care for your T1D loved one. Caring for a newly diagnosed T1D child can be scary for many and this class will help alleviate some of that fear and anxiety. Come with your questions and concerns and listen, learn and connect!
