T1DConnect is gathering again! T1Ds 21 years and older are invited to join Network Eye and Breakthrough T1D Northern Florida for an evening of Axe Throwing and Appetizers, hosted by T1D vet Ben Tzeel. T1DConnect is a group dedicated to young professionals living with T1D, giving them the opportunity to gather, network and support each other, while raising awareness for T1D within the community.
Join us at Civil Axe Throwing – Centro Ybor on Thursday, December 8th. We will gather at 6:30pm, with axe throwing taking place from 7-8pm (anyone who will be participating in axe throwing will need to arrive by 6:45 for safety talk!). You will have the chance to meet Ben, the team from Network Eye and representatives from Breakthrough T1D Northern Florida while connecting with the local T1D young professional community in a fun, casual atmosphere!
Axe throwing lanes have been reserved from 7-8pm for anyone interested in throwing, and an assortment of light bites and water will be provided, courtesy of Network Eye. Civil Axe Throwing does not offer any food or drinks so please be sure to BYOB and bring along any other food items you would like for yourself!
