Sarasota Cups of Hope – March

Cups of Hope is a gathering of people whose lives are affected by Type 1 Diabetes including adults with T1D, spouses, parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc. Everyone is welcome! We gather together and share experiences and information to help us make life better for our Number 1 Type 1. 

Please join us on Tuesday, March 24 at 10:15 for our monthly Cups of Hope Meeting at our NEW LOCATION-THE LAKEWOOD RANCH LIBRARY. 

Our wonderful speaker will be Karen Hildreth. Karen is a very knowledgeable and supportive counsellor from Sarasota Grief Counseling. Karen Hildreth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice, specializing in grief and loss and traumatic loss. She is an attachment-based counselor and works with couples, families, and individuals using a variety of interventions including art therapy and sand play therapy. Karen will be speaking on recognizing and managing stress with an eye toward avoiding depression. Everyone has stress and we either manage it or it manages us. She appreciates answering specific questions about real-life situations, so please feel free to ask. 

We are temporarily meeting at the Lakewood Ranch Library while the Fruitville Library is under construction.
