Sarasota Cups of Hope -May

Cups of Hope is a gathering of people whose lives are affected by Type 1 Diabetes, including adults with T1D, spouses, parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc. Everyone is welcome! We gather together and share experiences and information to help us make life better for our Number 1 Type 1. 

Please join us on Tuesday, May 5, at 10:15 for our monthly Cups of Hope Meeting at our NEW LOCATION-THE LAKEWOOD RANCH LIBRARY. 

Our wonderful speaker will be Michelle Morley, who will introduce the new automated insulin delivery device-TWIIST. The Twiist pump uses iiSure™ sound wave technology. It is a tubed pump that features precision dosing(micro-dose technology) and Tidepool Loop algorithm integration. Michelle is excited to share this innovative technology and walk us through the device’s unique features and benefits, as well as answer any questions we have.

Michelle has 30 years of experience supporting individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes. Her passion lies in empowering people with knowledge, tools, and support they need to successfully manage their diabetes and live full, healthy lives.

We are temporarily meeting at the Lakewood Ranch Library while the Fruitville Library is under construction.
