Cups of Hope is a gathering of people whose lives are affected by Type 1 Diabetes, including adults with T1D, spouses, parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc. Everyone is welcome! We gather together and share experiences and information to help us make life better for our Number 1 Type 1.
Please join us for our monthly Cups of Hope Meeting on Wed, Aug 19 at 5:15 pm at the Library. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME: 5:15 pm
Our wonderful speaker will be Endocrinologist Dr. Sonia Sharma. We are so excited to have a local endocrinologist to answer our questions, give us her knowledge of managing T1D, and what equipment works best with her patients. She has a wide variety of patients, including one patient only on Afrezza- the inhalable insulin. For those in search of knowledge, understanding, and unbiased views, please join us and bring your questions, as this will be an open and interactive discussion!
We will also have Dogs Inc. joining us with an update on their Diabetic Alert Dogs and their brand new facilities!
We are temporarily meeting at the Lakewood Ranch Library while the Fruitville Library is under construction.

Meeting Room B:
-Go to the main entrance and enter through sliding doors.
-Continue straight through second set of sliding doors into the main library room
-Take a left before the librarian’s station and then another left into Meeting Room B
