Wow what a day! It was fantastic having everyone together in one location this year, the fellowship among the different teams was priceless.
The weather held out for our journey through downtown Dallas and families were smiling all along the route. Kidsville was bigger and better this year with the addition of multiple interactive games, bounce houses, a train, face painting, crazy hair and their very own DJ, even Rufus was getting down to the music! The plaza was hopping with lively music all morning long and we can’t forget Kid Vicious who took to the stage after walkers returned.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s Walk to Cure Diabetes! It was an amazing day with hundreds of thousands of dollars raised for T1D research and that is why we walk.
