On the morning of June 12, at 6:00 am, news crews flocked to Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco to capture the moment NFL Pro Football Hall of Famer and Dallas Cowboys legend, Cliff Harris, took center stage. Cliff’s personal connection to type 1 diabetes (T1D) runs deep as he lost his father to complications of the disease. Since then, Cliff has become a dedicated supporter of Breakthrough T1D and their relentless pursuit of T1D research and advancements. This year’s Breakthrough T1D Cliff Harris Golf Tournament was a monumental success as it proudly boasted a SOLD-OUT event. The beautiful weather provided the perfect backdrop for raising $300,000 for T1D research. With the most favorable temperatures in the tournament’s history, participants enjoyed a delightful day with a brief scattered shower and pleasant temperatures in the 70’s throughout.
