November is National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM) and Breakthrough T1D needs your help to spread the word about type 1 diabetes!
Take the T1D Challenge! Step into the shoes of someone living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for one day in an eye-opening text campaign made possible through the generous support of Lilly Diabetes. In just a single day, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges people with T1D face AND you’ll be raising dollars for research that will bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the T1D community.
Another way to get involved is to GO BLUE at your office! Many companies and schools will allow employees or students to wear jeans in exchange for a donation to Breakthrough T1D. Would your school or employer be willing to GO BLUE for Breakthrough T1D? Please let us know!
There are some local activities you can participate in as part of NDAM. For more details about these events, click the links below. Any youth ambassadors interested in working the Breakthrough T1D booth at any of the events, should contact the office.
